EPRF RESEARCH CENTER

The EPRF Research Center on Easter Island is made possible by the generous contributions of our members who are interested in finding, documenting and preserving the histories of the Pacific Islands. Every dollar contributed by members goes to support archaeological programs and projects such as the Research Center.

The Research Center houses a huge Easter Island information database; research laboratories; classrooms; quest quarters and presentation center. The Center is equipped with computer imaging and graphics capabilities for field data cataloging and analysis as well as orientation seminars. The Center's first phase opened in December 2001 with subsequent phases scheduled as funding permits.

The EPRF is proud to play a major role in the planning, funding and establishment of this Center and looks forward to the Center's continued construction and utilization.
